LET’S NOT FALL FOR IT! Resistance Yoga can help you build agility and strength at any age. No matter if you are a beginner or experienced at yoga, this course is for you.
Only a small percentage of hip fractures are caused by low bone mineral density (BMD). The best “Rx” is a FOCUS ON PREVENTING FALLS, on carefully building up muscle and bones, so you can move freely in balance and confidence.
Each class in this 6-week course progressively guides you towards the 12 Poses for Bone Strength and Health, medically proven to build bone and balance. These safe and easy classes are especially useful for those of you living with Osteoporosis or Osteopenia.”
We will meet for 6 Livestream classes on Zoom: Wednesdays 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Pacific Time, starting October 2nd through November 6th. Classes offer the personal feel of a small supportive group setting. Diane guides each participant through bone-strengthening yoga at the perfect level for his or her body.

Body & Behavior Workshop

DiSC® is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve communication and reduce conflicts. Learn effective ways to adapt and get along with others. A short survey is required to be completed that will result in a personalized 23-page behavior analysis customized for you!
BODY
Through Ayurvedic concepts, we will explore balance between the three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha). They take after the five elements in nature. We will explore tailoring your practice both on and off the mat that is aligned with one’s unique body type and constitution.
