Jill
and Diane will offer participants multiple ways to learn about and evolve in body and behavioral preferences. 

BEHAVIOR
DiSC® is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve communication and reduce conflicts. Learn effective ways to adapt and get along with others. A short survey is required to be completed that will result in a personalized 23-page behavior analysis customized for you! 

BODY
Through Ayurvedic concepts, we will explore balance between the three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha). They take after the five elements in nature. We will explore tailoring your practice both on and off the mat that is aligned with one’s unique body type and constitution.

Diane Thompson
Yoga Just As You Are
Registered Yoga teacher

A chemist by education, Diane worked in the Personal Care industry in Europe and USA and the Information Technology industry as a Software Engineer. Trained in trauma informed yoga techniques, she volunteers to provide yoga to individuals from vulnerable and marginalized communities. She is also Certified  in  the Dr. Fishman's Yoga Method for Osteoporosis. With Yoga Just As You Are, she specializes in foundational yoga for those in middle and senior years.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Location: The Studio is spacious (2300ft) with a cap of 25 participants, everyone will have ample space to attend and practice with comfort and safety.

Lunch: BYO or support the Rangoon Bistro that is on site or the Hinterland Bar & Carts across the road. 

Clothes: Be comfortable, wear clothing that you can easily move around in. Bring your own mat if you have one, all other props are available to use on site.

Survey: Within 48 hours of registering you will receive an email from Jill McGillen. The email will include the DiSC survey. The survey will take 10 minutes to complete and should be completed by March 17th, 2023
