We will meet for 6 Livestream classes on Zoom: Wednesdays 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Pacific Time, starting October 2nd through November 6th. Classes offer the personal feel of a small supportive group setting. Diane guides each participant through bone-strengthening yoga at the perfect level for his or her body. Have to miss a class? SYLLABUS for the 6 week course:
Week 1: Feet, Knees and Gait – Being firmly planted!
Week 2: Pelvis and Lumbar – Find your center of gravity
Week 3: Mid, Upper back, shoulders and head – Be upright!
Week 4: Abdominal Core Strength – Without rounding the back!
Week 5: Safe twisting – You can still twist!
Week 6: Consolidation Coordination Confidence – Look how you’ve grown!

Diane Thompson ERYT, is a certified teacher for the Dr. Fishman Yoga Method for Osteoporosis and an avid student of Donna Farhi. For over 9 years Diane has been helping people who have Osteoporosis or Osteopenia and those who want to prevent the onset of this condition of thinning bones. A chemist by education, Diane worked in the Personal Care industry in Europe and USA and the Information Technology industry as a Software Engineer. Trained in trauma informed yoga techniques, she volunteers to provide yoga to individuals from vulnerable and marginalized communities. With Yoga Just As You Are, she specializes in foundational yoga for those in middle and senior years.
